Our client wanted to keep employees engaged during their time away for major life events and ensure the company offered sufficient support, all through a SharePoint portal.
An End-to-End Portal for Comprehensive Support
From our client’s ideas, we conducted several workshops using design thinking principles to scope out the portal and how it would help the different personas. As a pilot stage we decided to target the biggest life event: maternity.
Our comprehensive service included wire-framing of the portal, copywriting, front-end and back-end development, workflows, integrations and deployment to an on-cloud SharePoint environment.
Some of the salient features included trigger-based notifications providing real-time support to user groups and the site’s inbuilt community and mentor program for additional support. The site offers a personalised view based on the location of the employee to show regional HR policies and other pertinent info.
